Tomorrow is Election Day and I humbly ask for your vote.
Over the past two years, since you last elected me to represent you and your family, I have voted in favor a balanced state budget that contains conservative solutions to create jobs and strengthen our economy, make college more affordable, increase funding to our health safety net system, improve our public schools and expand choice in education. These are issues I've heard loud and clear from you - issues that matter most.
Please take a few minutes tomorrow (Tuesday, 11/3) to go to your local polling location and cast a vote for me. The polls are open from 6AM to 7PM. If you need to identify where you go to vote, click here: https://voterinfo.sbe.virginia.gov/PublicSite/Public/FT2/PublicPollingPlace.aspx
As always, I am grateful for your confidence and look forward to participating in a process that produces good public policy that benefits our district and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
All The Best,
Delegate Scott Garrett M.D.

Scott Garrett is somewhat of a rarity – he is easily accessible and genuinely interested in input from the community. He invites parent leaders from local schools to share their input regarding the challenges and opportunities to getting more parents involved with the education of their children and he also values the input and ideas he receives from small rountable discussions with local teachers.
He is a member of both the Amherst and Bedford County Chambers of Commerce as well as the Lynchburg Regional Chamber! and is involved in welcoming new businesses to the area as well as encouraging current local businesses to grow. Scott is a member of the House Appropriations Committee (who draft the budget) and 1 of 3 who represent areas west of Richmond; he believes in continued financial support of institutions such as the Johnson Health Center and the free clinic. He has helped to pass laws that keep dangerous chemicals and drugs off our streets and more importantly away from our children. He has served as a surgeon in Lynchburg and contributes his knowledge in the health care system as an effective voice in Richmond.
Scott Garrett and his family are and have been an integral part of this community. For the last four years Scott has held a ‘Back to School Supplies’ drive in various city locations resulting in approximately $10,000 in donated supplies that are distributed to local schools. Scott and Whitney’s children both attend Lynchburg public schools. He is also a regul! ar at Monument Terrace supporting our veterans and current military personnel on Fridays for the “Support Our Troops” rally and each September he enthusiastically cheers on thousands of runners in the Virginia 10-Miler race.
Scott Garrett is an all-around versatile, enthusiastic and hard working individual and gives much of his time to this city in varying capacities. Re-elect Scott Garrett!
