Tessy Plastics LLC to invest $4.8 million in Lynchburg, creating 60 new jobs

 

Richmond (Jan. 27, 2012) – Governor McDonald announced today that Tessy Plastics LLC will expand its Lynchburg facility, investing $4.8 million in the business and creating 60 new jobs.  Tessy Plastics was established in Lynchburg in 1997 and serves the medical disposables market as a family-owned and –operated, privately held company.

 

“Today’s announcement of new employment opportunities in our community also demonstrates the Commonwealth’s continued firm commitment to our business partners and their families.  I am grateful that the Governor and his team, working with our local business development leaders, have partnered with Tessy Plastics on this endeavor.  I will continue to do all that I can at the state level to encourage these types of success stories in our district.”
